An early-twentieth-century composition, a little dreamlike: an entrance house on Nguyễn Trãi, the walled city’s main street, and behind it an axis that unfolds across the lake toward the mountains.

Three levels, one view
Inside the walls nothing may rise higher than the King’s gates, so the hotel keeps to three levels: a garden floor, a balcony floor, and the suites under the roof.
